I'm A Wanna-be Career Coach
I did "okay" in sports but pursuing the music business made it hard to balance the opposite schedule. I was always torn between the jock crowd and the nerds. I actually got along with both and still have life-long friends from both tribes.

I started coaching baseball when my son was in T-ball. Like many dads, I just followed him into Little League and rec ball. From there it just snowballed into travel leagues, American Legion teams, and finally high school coaching.

As far as playing ball goes, I have played on numerous men's softball teams all over the country from coast to coast. I'm quite competitive and enjoy the friendship that ensue.

Not only did I enjoy it immensely, but I learned invaluable lessons in clear communication, conflict resolution, and many other people skills. (not to mention all the great illustrations I got for sermon material)
