Most of my life was lived near the ocean. I used to feel landlocked if I was too far inland. Boats, skis, cast nets, fishing poles, air tanks, masks, fins, and flip flops were always within reach.

I vacationed in the Florida Keys for decades and lived on Islamorada for two of those years. I have very fond memories of "The Fishing Capital of the World."
